I've just seen an update 4.01.fitbit-mobile-(and a string of numbers I can't get to post) today 09/10/2023 and after the disaster surrounding the last one I'm looking for some feedback before I commit to an update.

Hello @Fred_Bloggs

You'll see a lot of people who don't like the updated, redesigned Fitbit app. Personally, I don't mind it and like the ability to customize the app to show only the information I want to see and remove redundancies.

You might want to browse this thread to see what the app looks like and how to navigate it: How to get the most from the new Fitbit app

Reminder: Once you update, there's no way to revert to the previous version of the Fitbit app.

Hi RiekoC,

I know about the last abortion of an update, I made the mistake of installing it.

There has been another update yesterday and I was looking for feedback on this one before I risked jumping straight in with both feet.

Does it fix any of the complaints or just add more problems?

Thanks for the link to the help advice.

regards

@Fred_Bloggs  I have been reading some of the threads on here and on the fora for the models of fitbit.  From what I have seen the only people in favour of this abomination are the moderators and members of the community council. There are obvious gaps in some threads where negative comments have been removed, also references to other brands are often deleted and woe betide anyone who attempts to instruct people on where and how to download previous versions of the app. Good luck.
