Fitbit app Compatibility with Huawei P40 EMUI

I'm using a Huawei P40 Lite 5G with EMUI 12.0.0. I recently received a Fitbit Charge 6 as a gift, but I'm unable to open the Fitbit app on my phone. Could you please confirm if my Huawei device is compatible with the Fitbit app? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

@dimitrag Fitbit has a history of compatibility issues with Huawei phones. If you check out this Help page there is some info about getting your new Fitbit to work with your phone. I hope this is helpful.

The problem is that my Android is EMUI, and nowhere does it say that this type is compatible with Fitbit.

I'm glad to help with you questions about OS compatibility with the Fitbit App.

Since EMUI is based on Android but not actually Android, some compatibility issues may exist. Our help article Fitbit Compatible Devices lists some Huawei devices that need some additional adjustments. I believe this compatibility gap is more related to the "lite" spec on those mobiles.

I would suggest that you take a look at the help article @alexthecat shared and give it the chance.
