We are a family that loves our Samsung products as well as our fitbits! We currently use the Samsung Tab A for our kids as their tablets, they also have fitbits but this Samsung device is not compatible "yet" with fitbits. With so many Samsung product platforms in use, how hard would it be to get the Samsung Tab A set up? Is this something your working on? I hope it is in your radar! Thanks!

Hello @Samsung1, good to see you keep visiting our Community! Thank you for bring to our attention the compatibility of the Samsung Tab A. There are many devices despite are popular in the market, are still under review to see if are capable to support all the features of the Fitbit app and tracker.

 

There are cases where the device is not listed as compatible in our List of Devices, but are able to sync like any compatible device. It wont hurt to try the following steps for syncing issues.

 

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

 

I appreciate your interest as your patience while we improve the Fitbit experience.

Hi, I too am upset that the Samsung Tab A is not compatible with Fitbit yet.

My old Tesco Hudl died, i had been using it with the fitbit app for years, so I replaced it with the Samsung Tab A and was surprised there were syncing issues - I thought it would be fine as I have been using my Samsung Phone and there were no issues.

I really prefer to use my tablet with Fitbit so please please can you add Tab A as soon as possible.
