Got a charge 2. The app has been working great with the galaxy sol. There doesn't seem to be any issues, but I haven't tried to get text notifications yet. (Not a feature I care for, so I haven't tried turning it on)

Hi, @SunsetRunner! You can check Fitbit's official compatibility list here. I will also point out that just because your phone isn't listed doesn't mean it isn't compatible. It could just mean that Fitbit hasn't officially verified it. Especially with Android systems, there are so many phone types that it's hard to test compatibility with all of them. Someone else might be able to chime in if they actually have tried that specific phone.

Thanks MakMak. I've looked at the compatibility list, but it isn't listed so I was hoping there would be someone who has tried it or if anyone knows. It's an android and it has google play, so I'm guessing it would work, but I'd like to be certain before buying.

At least for the app portion, you can download that for free and try it out before buying anything. They have MobileTrack, so you can try tracking some walks and whatnot and see how you like it. The biggest difficulty you might possibly run into, I'm guessing, is sending notifications to your tracker, if that's a feature you're looking for.
