Fitbit app crash on Moto Z3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Originally, I was experiencing the common issue of the exercise tile causing the app to shut down. For the past couple weeks I have been unable to open the app at all. It will open to the white screen that says Fitbit in the middle but will never move beyond that and will then close out.

My device is a Motorola Moto Z3 running Android 9/Android Pie.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, including the recent update, and restarted my phone at every step of the process.

I'm not sure when it first started, over 10 days ago. Since then I've tried
once or twice a day and it's crashed every time. I've uninstalled and
reinstalled the app several times but it never opens enough for me to log
in or even force quit.

Your reply is appreciated @LEC1114.

Thanks for troubleshooting this situation with me, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Since the steps from my previous post didn't work, please go to your mobile device settings, then go to the apps section, select the Fitbit app, go to storage, and then clear the app data and cache.

Let me know if the issue persists. If so, I'd pass along this situation to a specialized department.

Unfortunately that was also unsuccessful.

For me it began last week with the most recent Fitbit update. I can no longer get it to open at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice so far

I have yet to receive a solution unfortunately. It is extremely frustrating especially because it has been going on for so long.

Last time this happened,  an update came through with a patch within a few days.. This time,  it's been almost a week and still no luck. I've been using the web based site,  but it's a poor substitute
