Since signing in to the Fitbit app using my Google account it has used up nearly all of my monthly data allowance in 4 days. I have therefore had to delete the app, meaning that my Charge 6 is just a digital watch now. This didn't happen before one had to sign in with Google.

Hello @CHorsl and welcome to the Community. Do you use an Android or iPhone? An Android user recently posted about the same issue. There was an issue like this a while ago that only affected Android users.
I can't comment about iPhone data usage. I don't look at my app really often when I'm not at home, so I have my mobile data turned off for my Fitbit app and sync with my home wi-fi.

@CHorsl I moved your thread to the Android forum and I sent feedback directly to Fitbit for you, since you deleted your app. Can you clarify a few things, since this might help sort out the issue. I looked at your public profile and saw that you joined Fitbit in 2021. When did you migrate to a Google account? You weren't required to until you bought your Charge 6. How long have you had your Charge 6? I'm asking these questions because this might be the result of a recent app update.

Bought Charge 6 on 11th Jan 25 and migrated to Google account on 17th Jan. Initially no problems with excessive data use, but problem started about 25th Feb. Used about 6gb in 4 days
