Fitbit app needs to get fixed for recent foods/frequent foods

For the past several months I have had to log out and log back in if I want the recent foods/frequent foods lists to update. Every single time.

When will this be addressed?  I know how to work around the problem. I am tired of having to do it every single time. The frequent and recent foods lists never work normally, so this is not something I have to do just occasionally.

Basically, I might as well just have to always enter all the calories manually, every time. It makes food tracking a tiresome chore.

@AranelS what mobile device do you have? Do you have the latest OS on your cellphone and the latest Fitbit app version?

I have a Droid Turbo 2. The phone, the OS, and the app are up to date.

(Plenty of other people have reported this problem over at least the last year and the ONLY solution has been "log out and log back in". I'm pretty sure it's not device specific, and there have definitely been app updates since. At the very least, someone could acknowledge that this problem actually exists.)

I have the same problem/frustration. My app doesn't even update the recent or frequent food items if I log out/in. It looks like this problem has gone on for over a year, at least for the Android app. It would be helpful if it was addressed.

This is the most frustrating aspect of using the Surge to track foods:  my recent list occassionally updates (if I sync); my most logged list hasn't changed for months, and has foods on it I ate in the summer and haven't eaten since while things I now eat EVERY DAY for months never show up.  I see there are comments going back to 2015 complaining of this disfunctionality. When is Fitbit going to fix this?  I want ability to edit my "most logged" and "recent" foods!  Fitbit team, fix this!!! Or maybe when this Surge needs replacing I'll get a Garmin and a functional food logging app ...
