Fitbit app not giving stair climb badges for the Google Pixel Watch 2

I have 30 plus stairs a day and yet to earn a single climb badge since activating my watch last year.  I have seen they know there is an issue but last post was closed in march with no updates.  Where are you at on fixing this?

Yep, same here, really annoying especially when the app clearly shows the floors climbed, how difficult can it be to fix this!

Same here, stair climb badges are not earned, although the watch-app registers my climbing correctly.  Forums are full with this issue (Pixel Watch 1 and 2). I tried log-out restart log-in, everything is up to date, nothing helped. When will you fix this? It should not be supercomplicated...
