Fitbit app not tracking calories burned correctly

I've noticed for the last week or so that the total calories burned shown in my food log (to calculate my calorie budget) is way higher than the actual number of calories burned shown on my dashboard. The dashboard total seems correct based on my activity levels, but the total in my food log is typically 800+ calories more than what's shown on my dashboard.

Additionally, I added in some exercise manually yesterday as I couldn't wear my watch while exercising and the total calories burned was way off. I input this exercise manually every week and every week it shows the total as 435 calories burned. When I input it yesterday it said 36 calories burned.

My app is up to date (version 4.25.2 on a Google Pixel 6a) and I've tried uninstalling the app on my phone and reinstalling it, I've tried force stopping the app, I've tried logging out and logging back in, nothing has fixed the issue. This is a big concern for me so I hope someone is able to offer a solution.

Hello @Cdel1

There's an issue affecting calorie tracking. The team is aware of the problem and is working on a fix. However, we haven't seen any timing for when the fix will be rolled out.

For now, I don't think there anything that needs to be done from our side. Keep watch for app updates as I believe that's how the fix will be rolled out.

I am having the same problem. The dashboard shows the same as the device, but when logging food it is way off. First thing in the morning it shows I burned 1024 calories while sleeping. My app is also up to date. I have also tried force stopping and logging out, everything I could think of and it has not fixed the issue. Please get this fixed, it is very important to me.
