Fitbit app requiring me to enter "distance" for a spin class

Hi,

I've always been able to log my spin classes as "Spinning" after the fact, without a problem. In the past, I've simply clicked the log button and added a start/end time, and the workout has been logged. Now, the Fitbit app is asking me to input a "distance." But...spinning is stationary, so there is no distance to input. The app will not allow me to log the workout unless I enter a distance, and it doesn't accept 0.

Thanks,

Amanda

Hi @amandak47, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login to your account using your credentials.
  7. Try again to log Spinning exercise.

Keep me posted.

Hi @RicardoFitbit , I am having the same issue when I try to record a Spin class. I am using an Android device (Google Pixel) and my app is fully updated. I've also tried restarting and reinstalling. The app keeps asking me to record a distance, otherwise it won't post the workout - but as mentioned, a spin class wouldn't have any distance to record. This happens every time I try to record this type of exercise.
