Fitbit app showing resting heart rate of 0

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

As of 7/14/20, my resting heart rate is showing as 0, but I'm pretty sure I'm still alive.  I have attempted restarting the app and restarting my phone.  I've confirmed the app is up to date.

I'm using Charge 3, firmware version 28.20001.63.5, Galaxy Note 9, Android Version 10.

Hi @GarthD, welcome on board. @Indiekate, it's always great to see you here.

@GarthD, thanks for your detailed information and efforts while troubleshooting the Fitbit app. I'm sorry that your resting heart rate and sleep data isn't registered correctly. Since the Fitbit app was recently updated, let me suggest going to your phone's settings > Apps > Fitbit > Force Stop and then reboot your phone. Once that is done, open the Fitbit app, sync and check your details one more time.

@Indiekate, thanks for every step tried on your own and for the screenshot provided. I'm glad that your heart rate and sleep data is now displayed correctly. I'm sorry for the inconvenience experienced and if there's anything else I can do for you, don't hesitate to let me know.

Hi Lizzy.

I've tried all of the various troubleshooting methods numerous time and still no luck with the resting heart rate (or with the sleep detail issues that are being discussed in other threads).  As both of these issues started with the recent update a couple of weeks ago, I'm hoping that it will be sorted out in the next update.

Cheers

FYI, the upgrade to app v. 3.27 fixed my resting heart rate issue and the issues i was having with sleep detail/score.

Cheers,

Garth
