Hi everyone,
Since the last couple of days my Fitbit app on Android keeps getting stuck on “Syncing…” and my stats don’t refresh properly (steps/heart rate sometimes update late, but sleep and workouts often don’t appear or show old data).
What’s happening:
Manual sync spins for a long time / never completes
Some tiles stay outdated (especially sleep)
Bluetooth shows connected, but Fitbit app behaves like it can’t pull data
What I already tried:
Force stop + clear cache
Restarted phone and device
Toggled Bluetooth / Airplane mode
Logged out/in (once)
Checked battery optimization (Fitbit set to “Unrestricted” / not optimized)
Made sure background activity + permissions are allowed
Still the same issue.

Hello
I had that often. Typical problem when traveling or using "auto time zone" mode. Try to set a manuel time zone in the fitbit app. 🤞

Hi, @AceroYCorrea, welcome to the community. If manually setting your time zone fails to resolve your problem, please tell us the make, model & OS of your phone. How to use the Fitbit app on an Android phone - Fitbit Help Center explains some of the issues. Note that the OS version changes periodically. I see you've followed the usual steps for issues like this. May I offer a suggestion? Delete & reload the Fitbit app. In particular, do this. Sync your Fitbit app if you can. Go to the Fitbit app in your phone settings>force stop>clear storage> Uninstall>RESTART YOUR PHONE. Reload the Fitbit app, allow all permissions and sign in with your Google account. Please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers
