Fitbit charge 2 will not connect to my Samsung galaxy J3 at all

I have tried everything suggested by others. Restarting/shutting down my phone, resetting the charge 2, force stopping the fitbit app and closing it and rebooting it, turning my bluetooth on and off, clearing the cache... Nothing is working. I got this fitbit charge 2 used and I can't pair it to my phone and can't connect it to my fitbit app. I also tried pairing it to my macbook but my macbook is too outdated and can't sync with it either. I am not sure what to do because it compatible with my device so it should be pairing.

I have tried every tip. Restarted my device, shut it down, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app, restarted the fitbit etc etc. And the charge 2 still will not connect to my fitbit account or pair to my phone. I am very confused, not sure what I can do now. My device is supported and has the most recent operating system so it should work???

Hi @KikiB129  have you updated the app? A new version was released in the past week.
