Hi @AUFIT122! thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community! In this case Samsung Galaxy J5 is not listed as compatible. In this instance since the app is not optimized to operate under the phone specification some features may fail.

I have seen you tried different solutions to address this issue. In addition I would like to recommend the following steps: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

Hope this helps. See you later if you have other questions.

I bought a fitbit charge 2 in August last year. I did everything I was supposed to and it paired nicely with my phone (Samsung J5 Prime). I was getting notifications for my calls and my texts and all was good in the world. Around Christmas time I realised that it wasn't giving me notifications for my text messages or phone calls. I had updated my phone but that was all I could put it down to. I tried to reset the notifications but with no luck. Today I realised it hasn't synced with my phone since Feb 22nd. I tried a few times but with no luck so I tried to pair it with my phone again. It didnt like that. Nothing happened. I decided to disable/ disconnect it from the app and try to rejoin it to see if that works. It didn't. I get to the point where i enter the 4 digit code, I enter it but then it thinks for too long and times out. I have restarted my phone as well but have now run out of ideas. Please can you help me get my phone and fitbit to talk to each other again?
