Fitbit charge: will charge but it wont stay on after taken off of charge?

When plug my fitbit in to charge it charges and when it fully charged i take it off of charger it works for a min or two then it goes black and when i tap or push the button on the side it doesn't come on but on the app it says the batter life is full

@Tylerbrooks, is this a new Charge 2 that has not yet completed the setup process?
