I noticed that the fitbit tracker is counting steps even when I am riding a car. This used to not happen before. I will glad if someone can help me. Thank you!

Thanks for the information in your post. All of our devices have been tested against driving, buses, trains, and other public transportation and should not give you extra steps when you’re traveling. That said, sometimes you’ll hit a bumpy road and may get some steps. However, you can delete the extra amount of steps by logging a driving activity. To do so, you can check this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hope this helps.
