Last night as I plugged in my fitbit for charging, or came up with an error message. I looked it up and it is to do with syncing. I followed the steps other people have done like turning off the Bluetooth and turning it on again but it did nothing. I then decided to unpair it from my phone, now it won't reconnect it just keeps asking to try again.
Not sure what to do now.

@emzielou90, I am not sure I understand exactly what your problem was/is. You say you plugged it in to charge it, but then you say you got a syncing error. Charging the tracker does not normally initiate a syncing process. Which Fitbit tracker do you have? What "error message" did you receive when you plugged it in?
