Fitbit not being allowed to pair with phone

There was an fitbit app update - which I did.  Not clock not showing at all

.  Have purple  screen that says source

shows clock and battery

 *Clock Icon - Sayss add device in settings

* Battery Icon -  Pair your phone  in your settings app under Bluetooth.

Would love to - but it's not even picking up the Versa in the settings

Hi @suefitz1960 you will never be able to pair your fitbit through the phones settings. 

This is the responsabikity of the fitbit app. 

The fitbit app should be promoting you to give the app permission to pair. 

It is not uncommon for the OS to remove some permissions with an app upgrade. 

My first thought would be to go into the phone settings - Apps - Fitbit - Clear data 

This will log the user out, and reset permissions. 

When the user logs in. They will be promoted to set up the permissions and asked to allow the app to pair the tracker.
