Fitbit not syncing or found

For the last three days my fitbit Alta is not able to be synced to my phone through the app. Everytime I go to sync it the error message displayed says tracker not found. I have tried turning the tracker on and off, redownloading the app. I even tried removing the fitbit and reading it to the app but now it cannot locate it at all. Any ideas?

If your dongle is in your desktop or laptop go ahead and remove it. Turn off bluetooth on your mobile for 10 secs plus, then switch back on, if your tracker still isn't auto-discovered, turn off your phone and then turn back on, launch the fitbit app and see if it now syncs.  Let us know how it goes.

I am doing this through my Samsung galaxy note 4. I tried your suggestion
and it is still not working. Any other ideas?
