My Fitbit Alta doesn't want to sync with my Fitbit app.
I have unpaired my phone and my Alta to try repair them to see if that worked but now my phone's bluetooth doesn't pick my Fitbit up at all.

Thanks for trying to unpair and pair them again to see if that helped with the syncing.
My recommendation in this case would be that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should help so that the set up goes through without any issues.
In the meantime I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are using and what Android version is it currently running.
