Fitbit premium subscription and customer service

I purchased a one year subscription to Fitbit premium in April. Then my Fitbit died leaving me with 10 months of useless premium since I'm not buying another device considering this is the second one I've had only last roughly 1.5 years.  I contacted Fitbit to see if I could get refunded for 9 months of premium and get my subscription cancelled early since it's useless without a Fitbit. I have been lied to, told something different by each person I've spoken to,  refused a refund, and am not allowed to speak to a supervisor because "they'll tell you the same thing I am". Fitbit is claiming that my refund has to come from Google play who I was forced to pay for the subscription through because I ordered it on the app. Google does not even have the money to refund if they wanted to. They've tried to get the refund anyway and it's just not possible. So I'm here to warn you that Fitbits don't last long enough to pay for premium, especially for a year subscription. You'll just end up wasting days of time and not getting your money back for something you can't use. It's a scam to get you to keep buying their products that stop working for no reason under normal use.
