Yesterday I migrated from Fitbit to Google and obviously like everyone else - I lost all my data. My Versa 3 also lost all of it's settings and alarms, super frustrating to find that out the hard way.
The most frustrating thing of all is now the calorie burning tracking is way off. I'm a big dude, 125kgs and 182cm and exercise daily. My BMR is 2883 calories before movement, supported by most calculators give or take 150 calories depending on their formula. I assume Fitbit had correctly calculated this before by my height, weight and age and starts tracking calories from there. Factoring in steps/distance primarily followed by heart rate and manually entering in exercise types. After putting in my information again it seems to be tracking my BMR to approximately 2100 calories, calculated by taking my wake-up calories burnt measurement at 7am and dividing that number by 7 then multiplying it by 12.
So not only has all my data been lost, calorie tracking is out as well. I also can only receive SMS on the watch now as opposed to all the other notifications I was receiving. I've been into the notifications settings and set everything as it was but it's not working. At the moment all I have is a glorified heart rate monitor...
