Fitbit transfer to google user name error

I’ve been trying to move my Fitbit account to my google account as required.  But when I try… my google user name “is already used”. But I am the user of the google account I’m trying to transfer to.  Any ideas?

I moved your post from the Ace LTE product help forum to the Android app forum. The Ace LTE is a device for children. 

You could try contacting Support (<-- click) to see if they can provide more information on the issue with your Google account. Complete the prompt in Step 1. Tap Continue in Step 2 (ignore Resources) to get the Step 3, which has the contact options. It might be best to speak with a representative for your situation.
