Fitbit versa stopped syncing

Have reinstalled and even did a factory reset on the versa but it still won't sync.

A couple of other things to try:

 

  • Restart your phone in case the problem is with that rather than the fitbit.
  • In your phone's bluetooth settings "forget" the link to the fitbit and try to sync again

I have done that and nothing has changed. The all won't even let me update
it because it says it can't find the versa.

The only thing I can think of that you haven't tried is a restart but I'm guessing that the factory reset does the same. But as it's quick to try then it's worth giving it a go:

 

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Failing that it might be best to contact customer support to see if they can spot the problem from the server side. If they can't fix it then they can check your warranty status and advise on your options: contact.fitbit.com
