Fitbit widget no longer available

I updated my fitbit app and added a new blaze to my account a few days ago. Since then the fitbit widget is no longer available on my Samsung s5. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Jwenninger0905, hope you're doing great! Strange let me say... I'd recommend doing the following:

• Log out of your Fitbit App
• Force quit the App
• Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
• Log back into your Fitbit App

Once this has been done, depending on your mobile device you can add Fitbit widgets in one of two ways:

1. Select Apps from the home screen.
2. Select Widgets from the top of the page.
3. Swipe until you see Fitbit.
4. Tap and hold to drag the widget to the desired home screen.

Or:

1. Tap and hold the home screen.
2. Select Widgets.
3. Swipe until you see Fitbit.
4. Tap and hold to drag the widget to the desired home screen.

Does not work for me on my Galaxy S7 edge. The app works fine but no fitbit widget is listed among the many widgets to choose among.

@fjrohlf2, open the Apps screen on your phone, then tap on the search icon (magnifying glass) and enter Fitbit on the search bar. It will display the Fitbit widget. Press & hold the widget to drag it to the desktop.

Sorry, i tried that first. Fitbit is not lidted among the widgets available.

@fjrohlf2, you say the app works fine, but there is no widget to open it.  How are you able to start the app?

There is an icon for the app but no widget. They are different things.
