I've seen many cases of Android phones not syncing and it's been doing this since January. My specific version is 8.0.0. and I would want to figure out a way to actually sync it for once.

Thanks for letting us know that you're experiencing syncing issues since January and for letting us know what Android version you are running.
My first recommendation would be to try to follow the steps listed in this help article. Be sure to go through all of them in the order that they show up in there. Those steps should get your Fitbit syncing again. Even if you have tried some of the steps in there, please try going through all of them once more.
In the meantime I'd like to ask what Fitbit is it that you have and also share what phone are you trying to sync that Fitbit to.
