I bought a used fit bit flex today and. I can't seem to get it to sync to my phone. I have a pixel 2 phone so I know it's compatable and I charged the fit bit. I have followed all of the instructions on the app and trouble syncing tips. We also charged the flex. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Hannahsmom2009 have you tried restarting the device? You'll need to take a paperclip and put it in the little hole in the charger unit. Do that a few times to be sure it's working. Make sure the Flex has been updated and that you have the latest version of the app. You'll need at least Android 5 for the features to work. The Flex was retired a few years ago. Let us know how things go for you.

Yes I've done all of those and same. I'm not sure if syncing was the right word for my issue. It has issues connecting to my phone from the start. It find the flex but when it tell me to tough the screen until it vibrates I do it and it asks me if it's not working. I it just never gives me the option of saying it did.

I would wonder if the Flex worked before you bought it and how long it had been without the battery being charged. Since the Flex was retired quite some time ago, it could be it can't be revived. Your phone on the compatible list? click to see
