Welcome to the Fitbit family @bbumino! It's lovely to have you here. Hey, that's odd. Have you checked that your Fitbit app for Android has been updated to its latest version? Sometimes not having the latest version can cause some discrepancies. I'd recommend logging out the app, force quitting, and then logging back in. This should do the trick! Keep me posted with the outcome.

My husband and I have the same issue with our Fitbit apps on Android. We've tried various workarounds such as placing the cursor in front of the quantity, entering the new number and then backspacing out the old--that works sometimes but not always. Can't really figure out the pattern but it's really annoying. If you're increasing the quantity it is actually easier to just add the item again which shouldn't be the case.
Definitely like to see this fixed. It's not just the current version either -- this has happened over several versions.

@melfab Thanks for joining us! Hey, that sounds a little weird. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Just out of curiosity, have you contacted our Support Team? They definitely have the proper tools to take a deeper look to the back data. Also, I'd like to have a better idea of the issue you're experiencing. Would you be so kind to post some screenshots of it? Looking forward to your new comments!

Hi, I'm having the same issue - but with my PC (my Android version is still working fine). This started Thursday 3/10. When I enter a quantity it shows everything correctly, but as soon as it logs it changes the quantity description. Everything else remains correct including calories and the numeric portion of the quantity, or amount. Let me give an example to clarify: I might enter 2 tbsp of butter with calories of 146; but the log will then change it to, say - 2 cups of butter with calories of 146. Personally, I would like to go live in the land where 2 cups of butter are only 146 calories, but in the meantime - this is very disconcerting! No amount of re-entry or approach will convince the log to use the correct description. I have changed no settings. I think there was an upgrade a couple of days ago? I have tried logging out and restarting, but that didn't work.

A warm welcome to our new friend @Elderbarth! Thanks for joining the conversation in this thread. Now, that sounds a little odd. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this before posting! Now, I'd recommend clearing cookies and browser's cache; then try logging food and let me know if it works. Good luck!

@bbumino Let's try the following:
1. Log out from Fitbit app
2. Go to your phone settings
3. Tap Apps and then tap Fitbit app
4. Tap Clear Cache
5. Clear Data
6. Close the app
7. Log back into the Fitbit app and try to log food once again. Also, you might want to make sure that your app has been updated to its latest version. Feel free to post back!
