This is to report the same issue as in https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Food-database-search-doesn-t-find-a-food-that-scanning-d... , which is closed.
Search: Toblerone orange twist, you'll get anything but that.
I scanned the product and it came up with the exact same spelling. It's annoying.

@Laulec108 Hello there. Thanks for reaching out about the food log on the Fitbit app and the explanation.
My guess is the following, the databases are not interconnected. I am sure the scanning feature works differently than the food database to log manually. I guess the scanning will go to the web and pull up the information based on the bar code. However, this specific item is apparently not on the food database. Given that this was reported back in 2018, I can assume that is how the food log works. I guess the food database could be updated and have these items added.
The best place to make your voice heard is the "Product Feedback" board, where you can submit your ideas and share it with other members. You can submit your comments as a suggested idea. The suggestions with more votes are taken into consideration by our developers for new updates or product development. Thanks in advance!

While that one explanation, that logic makes no sense. There should be one data source for all food, regardless of how they're being searched for.
I've opened a product feedback entry. Thanks for the reply.
