Food logs using wrong day

For about the last 2 weeks, my Food Log on Android is always 1 day behind -- that is, it logs food *yesterday* even when the date highlighted in the entry for the food item is *today*.

I open the food item detail to log, and the Day section always shows *yesterday* date ... however the calendar to adjust the day shows it as today's date.  For example, today (14 December), logging a food item comes with a default date of 13th December (yesterday)-- even though in the calendar that pops up in the Day section, the 14th (today) already is highlighted.  I have to change the highlighted day to *tomorrow* (15th December) for the food to be logged with today's date (14th December).  This happens *every day*.

This never happened before 1-2 weeks ago.  I tried reinstalling the app but the problem persisted.

Do you live near a time zone line where your phone is sometimes on one side and sometimes on the other? That's the issue I have. If I'm in a different time zone it logs incorrectly.

Ah, I often travel across time zone and my Fibit doesn't update. I have it
set to but it doesn't. Doesn't really explain why a whole day is logged
wrong though.

No. It doesn't. I guess it's a glitch. But I read that others have this problem too, so it's not just us. It's not a fix, but at least now I know that if I fix the time zone or wait till I get home I won't have this issue anymore. I just hope they fix it soon.

Adding a reply as the issue is still there 2 months after last post, and 2 years after 1st report

I had the same issue a day after traveling.  Seems the time zones messed with it.  I went to add settings and turned on automatic time zones and all of my entries updated.

Funny....2023 and the issue continues. I travel for work and fly to different time zones and when I get home, I get the same food logging issues discussed above . You would think someone would have address this.

And yes, the standard reply by Fitbit works but it's a pain in the rear uninstalling and re installing the app everytime.
