I wear a Charge 6 and use my phone's Fitbit app when hiking. I set up my app to report Distance, Time, Average Pace, and Split Pace via voice cues. Everything seems to work well, except that the Split Pace is always precisely the same as the Average Pace - even when I've trudged up a steep incline that should significantly increase the split pace for that portion of the hike. This behavior was also the case on my last phone. I use a S23 Ultra running Android 14. My Fitbit App is version 4.25.2(110112965).
As of this month, this has been an issue for NO LESS THAN NINE YEARS!! C'mon people! I would have just commented on the post below, but it's been closed.
