When I check my steps with my friends, it updates the steps each day & decreases the total instead of adding the total steps ! Software glitch ? Please explain fitbit.

Your steps, and the steps of your friends are a rolling 7-day total.  at 12:01 AM on any given day of the week, the steps from that same day of the week from the previous week are dropped.

Your steps, and the steps of your friends are a rolling 7-day total.  at 12:01 AM on any given day of the week, the steps from that same day of the week from the previous week are dropped.
