I have android LG phone and friends all have iPhones. I can see them but they can't see me

You could check that the "friend ranking" setting in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit# is set to "show me"

I have an Android phone and my Apple using friends can see me.

 

Check to see if your privacy settings allow friends to see what you're doing - click to go there
