GPS distance/tracker distance different

I used the GPS on the app and it said I walked 2.5 miles which is about right and my fitbit watch and app says I only did 1.16 miles and I know that's wrong yesterday it was all the same and now the app and watch is not accurate. What should I do

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
