GPS not connecting after latest FW upgrade on Versa2

After I upgraded my Versa2 to latest fw upgrade 35.72.1.9 which was rolled out a few days ago, I am unable to connect to phone GPS. I did upgrade latest android app as well, but no use.

Have you checked permissions @SunsetRunner?

Does notifications and weather work? 

Sometimes an app update resets android permissions.

Thanks Rich for responding. I did check all the permissions, and infact everything (notification/weather etc.) are all working fine, just the GPS on Versa2 is not connecting with Phone GPS as it used to happen before the update.

Has Fridays android app update been installed? 

This thread title mentions a Versa 2 Firmware update but is posted on the Android software board and not the Versa Hardware. confusing
