GPS sync?

I'm not sure if it is the GPS or something with how the FitBit is syncing, but the map is not following our route accurately and the distance is totally inaccurate. Just did 12k steps, it says 2.41 miles. I seem to disappear off of the map for a while,  like the line disappears and then picks up again later, and it isn't on the roads we actually traveled on. Anyone else? Know a way to fix it?

Im the same. Ive just switched from Apple to Android and the gps sucks on the Android app. Doesn't track your walk accurately at all. I did 5 ks today told me I did 1.8

My thought, make sure permissions are set and the Fitbit app has power management disabled 

Since your asking about using the Fitbit app to record your runs, the Alta has no way to record with GPS, I've moved your Android question.
