I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy J6+ and I was trying to connect my Flex 2 device . I download the fitbit app. The connecting between the app and the flex 2 keeps timing out. I removed the device from the app and reinstalled it as a new fitbit device. The same problem kept occuring the app would find my device and then say connecting to you device. Then the connecting process would simple timeout.
Is there an issue connecting the Flex 2 device with the Samsung J6+ ? Are the both devices compatible ? Will there be a fit issued for this soon ?

Welcome to the Forums @Jim_Bob_101.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing all of the steps that you have tried to get your Fitbit and phone to connect.
This might be happening because the J6+ is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
