Galaxy Note 3 Heart rate not working

Since the latest update, heart rate won't show up in the app.
No matter what I try.
I believe the latest update broke the heart rate real-time monitoring

Hello @DanielLange.

Thanks for bringing this up and letting me know that this only started after the latest update.

In this case I'd like to ask you to take a screenshot of what you are, or aren't, getting on the app in regards to the HR. That help me determine what is happening.

In addition to that I'd like to ask you some questions:

  • Are you only referring to the live HR data or HR in general?
  • Are your notifications working correctly?
  • Is you Fitbit showing the HR or it not showing in it either?

Look forward to your reply.

Thank you for your reply.
I've tried to turn off and on pretty much everything in the settings.

all-Day sync
Always connected
Keep-alive Widget
Heart rate
All turned off and on.
I've tried unpairing the Alta HR, and paring it back again, but it makes no difference.
Just the same "--" all the time

I've also tried to enable notification access without any luck.

It's perfectly syncing, but not able to show heart rate in real time anymore.

Hello @DanielLange.

Thanks for sharing those details and those screenshots! I apologize for the delay in my response.

Let's try to turn the live data off and then on again and see if that helps. Please follow these steps to find it:

  1. Make sure your tracker is updated, see How do I update my tracker?
  2. On the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select your device.
  5. Turn off the Live Data option.
  6. Sync your device.
  7. Turn it back on and sync your Fitbit.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.

There is no option in settings that is called "Live Data option."

Hello @Nkouz.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for letting me know and checking on that.

I'd like to ask you some questions:

  • Are you getting notifications on your Fitbit?
  • When did you stop getting the live data?

Look forward to your reply.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and a Versa (received as a bday present this past December) and I stopped getting notifications to my fit bit on Wednesday, February 27th at 3:39a Eastern Standard time (I found this info on my Daily Steps Badge option when I swipe the screen up on my Versa)

I've been scouring the Help Pages here for any possible fixes to get my calls, texts, calendar and email notifications back .. have tried resetting and restarting the Versa, blue tooth on and off, restarting my phone force stop the app and no luck.
