Galaxy s4 says paired, Fit it dashboard seems to have its own ideas !

My Charge HR seem to be connected to my Galaxy s4. It shows as paired in Galaxy's Bluetooth settings.

About five minutes ago I looked at the app and it showed as having sync 19 minutes previous. The figures compared to that of my iPad with which I have had no trouble.

However, try 'sync now' and nothing happens, Fitbit doesn't update on the Galaxy, it does on the iPad.

Goto Fitbit dashboard and beside the Fitbit Icon and the Charge HR there is a red circle with a white exclamation inside it. I am assuming that in some way the Galaxy has paired with theFit Bit but that Fitbit doesn't see the connection; while at the same time seeming to sync of its own accord ever so often.

I'd appreciate your advice.

The Fitbit and MyFitnessPal have no difficulty in exchanging information.

Is this part of the ongoing saga of Fitbit and Galaxy and for users I suppose the bottom line is where does the fault lie: with the Galaxy or the Fitbit software?

@kah22 It sounds like your Charge HR is currently bonded to iPad. I recommend trying these trouleshooting steps so you can get the Charge HR syncing with the Galaxy phone. Let me know if that solves the mystery.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately my Galaxy has taken ill 😘 and I'm checking to see if it is fixable. If not it will be an iPhone 6s, but we'll have to wait and see

Hope it all works out.  If the GS4 is fixable, try clearing the app's cache every so often.  That sometimes helps.
