Google Pixel 4 XL Compatibility

I want to buy a Google Pixel 4 XL, but first I want to ensure it will be fully compatible with my Fitbit Versa 2.  The compatibility page at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 lists the Pixel 4, but not the 4 XL.  This seems strange considering they are the same edition/version (4), and I believe they only vary in size (screen and battery).  For older editions of the Pixel they list both sizes, like the 3 and 3 XL.  Considering the 4 XL was released in October 2019, and that now Google owns Fitbit, it seems possible that the 4 XL really is supported, but that the article linked above needs to be updated.  Does anyone know if the Pixel 4 XL is fully compatible?

Hi @CindyEugene, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. The Google Pixel 4XL should work with no difficulties at all if the only difference with the Google Pixel 4 is the size of the screen and battery. The main compatibility concern of mobile devices that are not listed is the Bluetooth technology, this is the reason why some users experience connection difficulties with their Fitbit devices.

In case you experience any issue with that specific phone, please do not hesitate to contact me back and I'll gladly assist you.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I can not get my pixel 4xl to fully connect with my Versa 2. It syncs, but the watch won't show messages, emails, etc.

I was having major issues with my Fitbit application on my Google Pixel 4 XL, so I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it. My Versa 2 doesn't seem to connect to my phone, and I keep receiving the "Linking with Fitbit app required for connectivity features" popup, and it gets stuck and says that it's having issues and doesn't fix itself. Now I can't link my Versa 2 at all.. how do I fix this?

Just your ordinary person... I think? I own the Versa 2 and my phone is the Google Pixel 4 XL running Android 11.

Pixel 4xl still isn't on the compatible devices list and I can see why since I have had consistent sync issues between my Versa 2 and XL4 since I bought it 8 months ago. It'll work fine for a few months and then stops again. It's not working again now ( perhaps due to the new update?). I delinked it from the account and now it can't find the device to relink it. This issue has been very frustrating and I can't believe since Google owns Fitbit that this hasn't been resolved yet.
