Google Pixel Watch 2 tracking of swim and swimming strokes

Hi all, I had to ditch the previous Google Pixel Watch because, as a swimmer, I noticed that in the Fitbit app it was not reporting accurate swim or swim stroke data like my previous Fitbit Sense 2.
I want to purchase the Pixel Watch 2. Can you tell me if it detects swimming strokes on Fitbit if it tracks swimming, at least like the Fitbit Sense 2? Thanks

Hi, @giovannitoso welcome, I swim with my SW2 (I've only had it since the 12th of October) It only displays elapsed time on your wrist while you are swimming but the exercise data in the Fitbit app on your phone will look like this -

I hope this helps, If you agree we need distance data on our wrist as an option you may like to vote for this in Product Feedback.

I hope this helps but if you would like further information please post here again.

Cheers

It seems amazing, how are you find it for swimming tracking, accurate?

How much your battery least when you do sport? I will love to track my sleep and not leave it on the charger. Do you think is possible

Hi, I find the PW2 reasonably accurate, all trackers occasionally miss a
length in the count but I know I swim an even number as I start and finish
at the same end. So far as charging the PW2 is concerned my experience is
the best way is to establish a routine for charging. I usually do it at the
end of the day while I wind down so I can go to bed with it fully charged.
The SOC usually reduces to 80% by the time I get up in the morning. There
is enough to see me through the day.
I hope this helps.

Hi, @giovannitoso, you can remove the offending data by following this article. How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities? If it happens again I would also suggest you force-stop the Fitbit app,  & clear the cache & restart the app. Let me know how you get on, an alternative will be to delete the Fitbit app & re-install but get back to us and I'll provide a more detailed guide.

Cheers
