I'm having the same issue as others re moving over to Google with my Inspire 3.

I reloaded the app and re-paired but I'm still left with incomplete steps counts for the last 2 days and no auto activity detection so it's not clichéd my half hour plus walks that would normally be tagged as exercise ..
