I was wondering if anyone know if you have to have gps/location setting to sync the fitbit Blaze or if you can turn it off? It's just my phone battery is always shocking when the location setting is on???

@Losing_it_laura As of the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update, location services must be turned on in order to sync with Bluetooth devices such as your Fitbit tracker. Read more about this change here. I keep it turned off until I want to sync, then I turn it on to sync and then back off so it doesn't kill my phone battery by keeping it on all-day.
