Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Chanticnm. It's great to have you here. Thank you for your efforts while trying to resolve this issue before contacting us. Your device shouldn't reset after syncing. It has to reset the recorded data every day at midnight only. I would recommend following @RickyFitbit's workarounds to resolve syncing issues with Android devices. This should get you back on track.
