Pleased to say after the trials and tribulations trying to sync with laptop and, eventually, syncing through Bluetooth on my Samsung Galaxy mobile, after 3 weeks all is working perfectly.  It is also now syncing with my laptop.  Hope everyone has success with their attempts connect.

. Why it wouldn't sync attempting with laptop, who knows.
