Heart rate graph says "no measurements"

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

It does measure my heart rate and I can see my current heart rate in app, but I don't get a graph. It just says "no measurements"

How do I solve this?

Miguel.

Hi @Miguana. Welcome! It's good to see a new face around the Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for confirming that your heart rate readings are being recorded. To work on this may I know since when this issue started? Is the rest of your data syncing correctly? Also, is the Fitbit app updated to the latest version?

If you've not done so, please try the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and sync your Fitbit.

If you continue seeing the same message, take a screenshot and attach it in your reply so I can take investigate further.

Hello.

I got it to work after logging out and reboot my phone a couple times.

Thanks for the reply though!

I have had the same problem since November 17th. Then Monday, December 2nd, my heart rate stats populated for that date only, and there is no data for the rest of the week.

Hi @Miguana and @buggj. Great to see both of you here! I'm sorry for the delayed response.

@Miguana, that's fantastic news and thanks for keeping me updated. I'm glad that your data is now showing up correctly. I'd like to invite you to visit our Discussion Board where you can share your experiences, meet people and create new topics. Happy stepping!

@buggj, thanks for trying the steps posted above and providing screenshots of what is displayed on the Fitbit app. Since the issue persists, please confirm if your Fitbit was able to sync correctly at that time? Do you recall if your Fitbit recorded your heart rate data during those days? Did the rest of your stats (steps, distance, calories, etc) were recorded during those days?

I'll be around, keep me posted.

No my watch continues to not work properly. Between not reporting the heart rate, it is now flashing through various options in my settings while I am not even touching my watch. I have followed every single fix continuously all weekend long. The touch screen doesnt react to any of my swipes anymore. So unbelievable frustrating. I am told to continue to reboot and shutdown until fixed. My watch is still not operating properly.

I just got a new Versa 2 and am having the same problem.  My heart rate shows on the device and on the dashboard in the app.  But when I click on the tile to see the graph it says “no measurements”.  I have cleared the cache, forced stop the app and rebooted my phone multiple times.   Still no graph.

any suggestions?

Never mind.   After writing that post, I did it all again and now have the graph.

Hi @buggj, I'm glad to see you again. @Aweinberger, welcome on board!

@buggj, thanks for keeping me updated and sharing more details about your Fitbit's behavior. I understand where you're coming from and appreciate you for trying to restart it on your own. Since the screen is the one unresponsive, I've contacted our Support team and requested a case on your behalf. You should be getting a reply soon.

@Aweinberger, thanks for your efforts and I'm glad that the Fitbit app is showing your heart rate graphs correctly. You did a good job with the steps and hope you continue enjoying the experience with your new Versa 2. Happy stepping!

See you around.

I've tried all of the above advice several times with no success. I have a Fitbit Inspire HR and a Samsung Galaxy A6. I only bought the thing to track my heart rate. Very frustrating.

I've owned a fitbit Luxe for about a year now, but for about 3 months I had to set aside my luxe. Battery Died, an Update came along etc...

Today I recharged the Luxe, resynced with my new phone, (Previous phones were moto g power (20 & 21), now a moto g power 2022) everything works, BUT the hate rate page now showing NO MEASUREMENTS. I tried troubleshooting with the instructions about with no good results. Restarted multiple times, I even restarted the Luxe. Still same, No measurements.

So i found out that the fitbit luxe needs to have enough time / data to give a measurement. I suspected this in the beginning and I still dont know if that was how it was fixed, but its working again for me. Good luck.

Fwiw my inspire 3 doesn't seem to sync heart rates, and it was really the only reason i bought the device 😞

Is it giving any read?

When I do runs on the treadmill, I set my phone to sleep after 30min and open up the Fitbit app.  As long as you have the heartbeat monitor on your Fitbit app list , you should be able to see a live reading.   When I run and want to make sure I'm reaching a cardio zone, this is how I know if I reached the proper zone with no need to increase speed on the treadmill.

Similarly, you should at least be able to see a live reading of the device is working. If it's not reading any form of data it will NOT show a number it will be greyed out with a dash or 2 dashes ( -- ) . I would try restarting the device in that case. I've had times where my luxe is getting bad reads and a simple restart fixes it.

As for long term data, the device needs time before it gives you a graph

I just got an Inspire 3 that won't record heart rate data. I've done all the rebooting and cache clearing described above but still no luck. This is the one reason I bought the product.

i would as long as the app is working and device is synced, try it for a few days and see if it begins tracking. It took my device a few days for it to collect data to show me a graph
