Heart rate info shutting down app instead of opening

As the subject heading implies, this is my problem. I have

1. Force quit the app

2. Uninstalled the app

3. Restarted the phone

4. Reinstalled the app

5. My phone's OS and the app are up to date.

Now, the heart rate function on the app just briefly opens before shutting the app down entirely. I'm using a Samsung A52.

Hi @WilPower I've moved your post to the Android Board. 

My thought would have been to stop the fitbit app and clear data. Both must be done through the phones settings. But removing the app should have reset things.

Yes, this page doesn't stay open. It keeps shutting the app down.
