Hourly Activity tile shows a spinning circle

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Every time I try to open the hourly activity page, it just hangs -- circles appearing and turning forever, but nothing displaying.  All other pages are working just fine.  Tried to update firmware; uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  Don't know what to do next.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @NRD975.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit App. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

I would recommend trying the following:

- Log out from the Fitbit app

- Reboot your phone

- Log back into the Fitbit app

- Set up your Fitbit Charge 4 as a replacement device:

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1640205799197.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Hope this helps.

@NRD975  I am having the same problem with my charge 2. Jumped through all the usual hoops with no success. Let us know if this works for you. Also I have found it is getting increasingly difficult to scroll back in the historical data for several items. All since they wiped the app versions for older android versions.

I figured my issue out.  I clicked on "edit" on the main page; then I deleted the "time to get moving" tracker from the page and then I re-added it  Now it works.

@NRD975 Glad you found a solution. I tried that a couple of times but it didn't work for me.

Has this ever been fixed - I have the same problem now.

None of the steps support have been through with me are working.

This has been found to be tied to you having your activity ending at midnight. I had to make my last hour end at 11pm. Then it worked.

Try that. As far as I know this has not been corrected.

Thank you, you're right that worked.

Yet nobody at Fitbit support seems to be aware of this to advise accordingly...

I found that solution in another thread on the same subject. It's so obvious that they pay no attention to what is discussed on here.

This problem has been going on through several updates. I can only assume that the developers' mums don't let them stay up late.
