How can we petition to add the Facebook option back?

I just learned that thr option to search and add friends through Facebook contacts was removed. The support person didn't even know and didn't have any information about why that happened. He just suggested that I make a suggestion on thr community forum to get it back. Which I thought wasn't very helpful, but here I am. Is anyone else annoyed that this isn't an option anymore?
