Hi @tjha and welcome to the forums! Are you referring to a post in the forums? It looks like this is your only posting. 

You cannot delete a post but you have other options, including Edit. Tap the three vertical dots at the top, right of your post to see your choices:

No. One of my "friends" posted something and it shows up in my notifications. For some reason the notifications icon is highlighted daily as though I have a new one.

Thanks for clarifying, @tjha. I have an iPhone and am not familiar with the Android app. Hopefully someone else will respond.
